Rose Ford
Rose Ford began her career with the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District where she worked for almost 15 years as a Human
Resources Generalist. While working at the Sewer District, Rose managed the Minority Business Program. In addition, Rose was instrumental with resolving conflict and employee relations issues. Rose continued her career at the Regional Transit Authority where she spent several years as a Labor and Employee Relations Specialist. In this capacity, she was hearing officer for union grievances, and worked with teams to develop a Positive Discipline Program and policies and procedures for workplace violence. She is currently the Assistant Human Resources Director and EEO Officer for the Cuyahoga County Public Library. In the past, Rose has presented numerous workshops and training sessions on a variety of Human Resources functions. She has a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Cleveland State University. She also completed a certification course in Labor Relations from the Cleveland State University. Rose is the recipient of the 2005 Women of Professional Excellence award from the Cleveland YWCA.
