C. Larry Watson

C. Larry Watson is the Associate Regional Attorney in the Cleveland, Ohio Office of the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). As Associate Regional Attorney he is the EEOC’s lead Counsel and primary legal advisor in the Cleveland Field Office. Watson supervises a staff which includes five attorneys. He has been employed by the EEOC, in the Cleveland Office, since June’1979, first as a Trial Attorney, then Supervisory Trial from 1984 to 1990 and Regional Attorney from 1990 until 2006. In 2006 the Commission reorganized its field offices, nationwide, and his title was changed to Associate Regional Attorney, when Cleveland was made part of the Philadelphia District.

Mr. Watson received a Bachelor of Science Degree, in Accounting, from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio.

Watson served as an original member of the Specialty Certification Board of the Ohio State Bar for the certification of attorneys as specialists in the practice of Labor and Employment. He served on that Board from its inception in 1997 through 2004.

Watson has also served as a volunteer in program planning and fund distribution at the United Way of Greater Cleveland since 1991.
