Renee Kimbell, MRC, CRC

Renee Kimbell is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor who has worked for the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission (ORSC) since 1995. During the course of her career in Vocational Rehab, Renee has worked as a Vocational Rehab Counselor in Lima, Columbus and Toledo. In addition, Renee has worked as an Employer Services Specialist (ESS) in Dayton and as the ESS Supervisor for the Eastern half of the state. ORSC’s Employer Services Unit works directly to partner with employers across the state, breaking down barriers to employment for Ohioans with Disabilities. Currently, Renee is the Statewide Program Coordinator/Supervisor for the Pathways II Program, Independent Living Older Blind Program and Homemaker Program.

Renee has a Masters of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Kentucky; coursework toward a Masters of Science in Administration (Human Resources) Central Michigan University; and has a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from The Ohio State University. Prior to her career with ORSC, Renee worked as a Mental Health/Substance Abuse Examiner for United Healthcare and a Medicare Claims Examiner for Nationwide Insurance.
