Kim
D. Clark is
the newly appointed Affirmative Action Officer & Senior Investigator in the
Office of Equity and Diversity (OED) at Bowling Green
State University. Kim spent more
than 20 years in the private sector in various leadership roles and brings more
than 10 years experience as a compliance practitioner to the OED that include:
- Driving
EEO & Diversity Program initiatives across organizations;
- Conducting
employment discrimination and harassment allegation investigations;
- Developing
and delivering EEO/Harassment Prevention training;
- Managing
OFCCP compliance evaluations; and
- Developing
Affirmative Action Programs and monitoring progress
As
the Affirmative Action Officer & Senior
Investigator, Kim will be assisting in the implementation of policies, programs
and responsibilities associated with the OED, conducting investigations into
complaints of unlawful discrimination and harassment, conducting EEO related
training presentations and workshops, presenting education outreach programs on
areas pertaining to equity and diversity, and monitoring compliance with
university AA/EEO recruitment procedures. As
the AA Officer, Kim will represent the Director or the Office, on University,
community committees, and special task forces as well as functions as a liaison
to designated internal and external groups relative to promoting issues of
equity.
Kim
has dedicated her community service efforts towards developing our most valued
resources – our youth – through the YMCA’s Youth Black Achiever Program,
inner city reading programs at the elementary and high school level, as well as
teaching Math and English skills in the Cincinnati Public School system to
grades K-12.
Kim
received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and earned
her Master degree in Education (Human Resources Development) from Xavier
University.
