Bruce Timberlake

Bruce Timberlake has worked as an Equal Opportunity Specialist with the Department of Defense (DOD) for 6 years, as an Equal Opportunity Specialist in the U.S. Army for 9 years, and is currently serving as a Senior Compliance Officer with the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Federal Contract and Compliance Programs (OFCCP) since 1999.

His general responsibilities include conducting compliance reviews to enforce Executive Order 11246, as amended, Selection 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, 38 USC 4212, The Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) on all contractors and subcontractors holding any federal or federally assisted contracts worth more than $10,000 annually.

Mr. Timberlake currently attends Columbus State Community College pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management through the Department of Labor.

In his spare time, Bruce is a mentor and basketball coach of a non-profit organization named Youth for a Positive Image (YFAPI), founded to inspire, mentor and educate the high risk youth in South East Columbus, Ohio.
