RICARDO A. KING, ESQ.

Ricardo King is Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of the Fair Housing Center in Toledo. In this role, Ricardo has the responsibility of supervising and implementing the Center’s enforcement activities in addition to managing its legal caseload. 

He was formerly employed at the University of Toledo College of Law as an Assistant Dean where he had a variety of administrative responsibilities. 

Prior to that Ricardo was an Associate with the Toledo law firm Eastman & Smith where he concentrated his practice in the areas of labor and employment law and represented a wide range of corporate clients. 

Ricardo is active in a variety of professional organizations including the Ohio State Bar Association, where he served as Parliamentarian for the Counsel of Delegates and the Commission on Judicial Candidates, and the Toledo Bar Association, where he was a member of the Board of Trustees. 

Ricardo is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School and the University of Toledo where he received an undergraduate degree in Psychology. 

Ricardo grew up in New York City and is married to Barbara Gant King and is the father of two sons, Christian and Kendall.
