Samuel H. Hancock is responsible for Affirmative Action, ADA and conducting
Sexual/Racial Harassment investigations. He is also a National Consultant specializing
in Developing Cultural Competence individually and organizationally
and has been conducting Cultural Diversity training sessions
for the past 11 years. Mr. Hancock has had several of his articles
on Cultural Competence/ Managing Diversity published and has conducted
Training of the Trainer
initiatives on developing Cultural Competence.
He is a former Executive Director of the Board of Community
Relations/Affirmative Action with the City of Toledo, a former
instructor at the University of Toledo and was a Human Resources
Manager for three (3) years at a local Community Mental Health
Center.
He has over 26 years of experience ranging from Corrections,
Affirmative Action, Human Resources, Welfare-to-Work initiatives
and Administration to Counseling, Community
Relations, and Mental Health. Mr. Hancock is also considered
an expert in Sexual Harassment related issues, has conducted
training sessions on How to Prevent Sexual Harassment in the
Workplace and How to Conduct Sexual/Racial Harassment Investigations.
He is a native of Columbus Ohio and graduated from Bluffton
College (B.A., Sociology 1974) and Bowling Green State University
(M.R.C. 1977) respectfully. Mr. Hancock is a Licensed
Professional Counselor, worked in private practice for three
years and is a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Toledo
in the Counselor and Human Service Education program.
He is married and has five (5) adult children.
