BARBARA CROWLE


Barbara Crowle is a Senior Equal Opportunity Specialist with the Cleveland office of the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) of the United States Department of Education. OCR is responsible for enforcing Federal Civil Rights laws that prohibit discrimination on the basis of disability, race, color, national origin, sex and age by public elementary and secondary institutions and public and private colleges and universities. She has been with OCR for twenty-five years. During that time, she has been a regular speaker on various civil rights topics, such as sexual harassment and services for students with limited English proficiency. She is a graduate of Ohio University with a B.A. in English Language and Literature.
