Owens Community College will offer Continuing Education Units (CEU's) to each participant that attends at least four hours of training. To receive your CEU's, you must sign the official attendance sheet for each concurrent or plenary session that you attend. You are responsible for making sure that your attendance is properly recorded. If attendance records do not show a minimum of four hours of training, no CEU Certificate will be issued. NO EXCEPTIONS! To earn the credits the conferee must pay the additional conference registration fee of $25.00. Note: You will receive a generic CEU certificate. Please check with your organization or your appropriate certification board regarding acceptance.
Conferees may apply to the Human Resource Certification Institute for up to 6 hours of recertification credit toward their Professional Human Resource (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resource (SPHR) designation. Eligible participants may register their attendance with HRCI on Verification Forms that will be provided at the conference. To receive your CEUs you must sign the official verification form for each concurrent or plenary session that you attend. Coming To Terms With Racism
Conferees who participate in both sessions of Coming to Terms with Racism—A Prerequisite to Personal and Professional Development are eligible to receive Continuing Education Units. Conferees attending only one session may not receive CEUs. This two-part session has met the Ethics Requirement of the Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board of Ohio and each participant will receive a certificate confirming that they have participated in both sessions and have received 3 hours of credit.
