The 2010 Ohio
Wright State University
We expand the contest to include the fourth and fifth graders!
The 2010 Ohio Mathematics Contest will be held
on the Saturday at Wright State University. The contest is for
upper elementary, middle and high school students in grades 4 through 11 (the 4th & 5th graders
are newly added this year.) It is sponsored by the
Dayton Branch and Ohio Chapter of the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association, the
Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Wright State University, the Asian
American Council, Dayton Ohio and the Ohio-SW Chapter of the Society of Hispanic
Professional Engineers; and supported by Asian, Hispanic, and Native American
community organizations in the Ohio Valley area.
The purpose of the contest is to stimulate interest in mathematics among upper elementary, middle and high school students and to recognize those who exhibit exceptional talent. The sponsors ask teachers and parents to strongly encourage their students in grades 4 through 11 to enter this Contest.
