AAYAT is back with a new identity!  We are now AAYCD!
Asian American Youth Council of Dayton

We are keeping the best of the old AAYAT program and combining it with new ideas and topics.   We will maintain a strong youth leadership component and continue to raise awareness about the hazards of tobacco. In addition, Our new group is a program of the Asian American Council, Dayton, Ohio and is partially funded by the United Way of the Greater Dayton Area.  Our sincerest thanks goes to the AAC for sponsoring us and working on our behalf.

Do you know a teen who would like to lead, teach, problem solve and generate ideas that deal with tobacco education and other subjects that affect the Asian community? The Asian American Youth Council of Dayton does all of these things and more. The group has given classroom presentations, spoken at city council meetings, spoken before the State of Ohio’s Finance Committee, met with Governor Strickland and State Senator, Jay Goyal. They are currently producing their own anti tobacco puzzle workbook and recently created an anti tobacco video.
